CLOSING CEREMONY OF RP II QUALIFYING COURSE 04/2024

The closing ceremony of RP II Qualifying Course 04/2024 was held on 08th January 2025 at the Navigation School of Naval and Maritime Academy with the presence of officers and instructors of the school.

The course commenced on 09th September 2024 and completed within seventeen (17) weeks with the participation of thirty (30) junior sailors. The aim of the RP II Qualifying Course is to improve the professional knowledge of trainees to carry out Radar Plotter duties on board naval ships/ craft, operations rooms and Radar stations effectively and efficiently. All trainees were awarded with a certificate on successful completion of the course.

The Officer In-Charge of the Navigation School, Commander (ND) HMWM Thilakarthna graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and congratulated to all course participants during his closing remarks.
