NBCD School at the Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA) served as the venue to conduct the practical session of the First Efficiency Bar Examination for Fire Services personnel from the Department of Local Government of the Eastern Province from 20th August to 22nd August 2024 with the participation of 66 participants. The above practical session is a key element in the certification process for fire service officers aiming to meet the professional standards required for their roles. The First Efficiency Bar Examination is designed to assess and ensure that fire service personnel possess the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergencies, protect lives, and safeguard property within their communities.
The practical session was meticulously organized and conducted by the experienced staff of the NBCD School, who brought their extensive expertise in firefighting, damage control and emergency management to the training. Over three days, participants engaged in various hands-on exercises, simulating real-life scenarios they might encounter in the field. These exercises were carefully designed to challenge the attendees by testing their ability to think critically, act swiftly and coordinate effectively under pressure.
