EXCITING SHOWDOWN: INTER COMMAND BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2024

The Training Command badminton team achieved a remarkable victory in the Inter-command Badminton Tournament 2024, securing the championship title undefeated in both the men’s and women’s categories. In a thrilling finale held at the Parakkrama Samaraweera Indoor Stadium at SLNS Gemunu, the men’s team faced off against the North Central Naval Command, while the women’s team battled against the Western Naval Command.

The men’s final was a display of skill and determination, with Training Command dominating the court and securing victory over North Central Naval Command in a closely contested match. The women’s final witnessed an equally impressive performance, as Training Command’s women’s team showcased exceptional talent and teamwork, ultimately emerging victorious over their opponents from the Western Command.

This triumph underscores the dedication and training of the athletes representing the Training Command, who demonstrated their prowess and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
