This Electrically Powered Engine simulator was established to cater the requirement of enhancing competence of Marine Engineers, Engine Room artificers and Engineering Mates by simulating real time emergency situations frequently confronted while working with marine engines onboard SLN.<\/span><br><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; background-color: var(--ast-global-color-5);\">The cut model of Chinese L 180 has been introduced with realistic general arrangements and system components and as a collective and an enormous effort of well-competent technical staff of both the Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Schools of Naval &amp; Maritime Academy, under the direct supervision of the Officer In Charge Engineering School, Naval &amp; Maritime Academy. This is the first Engine simulator established in a training institute in Sri Lanka Navy which creates a milestone in Naval &amp; Maritime Academy
