The aim of the course is to enhance the proficiency of officers and sailors in the Sri Lanka Navy in handling small arms. Additionally, the course is designed to improve the professional knowledge and skills of the trainees, enabling them to fire their personal weapons efficiently and accurately under any battle condition.
