The ceremony was graced by the Commandant, Naval and Maritime Academy, Rear Admiral Rohan Joseph as the Chief Guest.<\/p><p>Clearance Diver III Course was commenced on 29<sup>th<\/sup> July 2024, with fifteen (15) sailors and was terminated on 24<sup>th<\/sup> January 2025 with nine (09) sailors on completion of twenty-four (24) weeks of training. Nine (09) trainees were awarded with insignias and OD AGRS Rathnayaka VA 200205 was awarded the \u2018Cdr PSK Bahar Memorial Trophy\u2019 for being the \u2018Best Diver\u2019 by the Commandant, Naval and Maritime Academy. He congratulated all the course participants on successful completion of their training and emphasized the importance of the Diving Branch, during the conclusion of his address.<\/p><p>During the course, the trainees successfully gained both theoretical and practical knowledge of diving, which helped them build their professionalism in the field. This training shaped them to serve in the Sri Lanka Navy as divers with pride and
