This vital training took place at the NBCD School with the participation of 100 dedicated naval personnel. The programme was a collaborative effort and significant support given from the Command Fire Service, SLN Dockyard.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; background-color: var(--ast-global-color-5);\">During the programme, participants witnessed a series of intensive training sessions designed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively handle fire-related emergencies. The curriculum included both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical exercises, ensuring that all attendees gained a knowledge thorough understanding of firefighting techniques, use of firefighting equipment and emergency response protocols. Realistic simulations and drills were conducted to mimic potential fire scenarios, allowing participants to practice their response strategies in a controlled, yet challenging environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; background-color: var(--ast-global-color-5);\">The successful execution of the firefighting awareness programme underscores the NBCD School of Naval &amp; Maritime Academy\u2019s commitment to continuous professional development and operational readiness. By prioritizing such training initiatives, the Academy ensures that its personnel are well-prepared to face any emergency situations and maintain safety standards at sea and as well as on land. The collaboration with Command Fire Service, SLN Dockyard not only enriched the training experience but also reinforced the importance of inter-agency cooperation in enhancing overall firefighting capabilities. The dedication and proactive participation of the 100 naval personnel reflect the high standards and unwavering commitment of the Sri Lanka Navy \u00a0safeguarding its members and
