The Closing Ceremony of Petty Officer Qualifying Information Technology (PO \u2018Q\u2019 IT) Course 01\/2023 was held at the Information Technology School on 17th<\/sup> \u00a0February 2024 with the 2IC IT School, Lieutenant Commander (IT) WSC Fernando, the Instructor Officer, the Chief Instructor, other instructors and Sailor Under Trainees of PO \u2018Q\u2019 IT course 01\/2023.<\/p>

The PO \u2018Q\u2019 IT course 01\/2023 was commenced on 05th<\/sup> August 2023 with the participation of nine (09) Leading rate Information Technology sailors. The course was designed to enhance the knowledge, and practical aspects of SUTs and to inculcate leadership qualities which are mandatory to perform their duties as a Petty Officer in Information Technology Branch of Sri Lanka Navy. The course was unfolded for 24 weeks with classroom instructions on theoretical training for compulsory IT branch subjects and naval subjects<\/p>

All trainees were awarded with a certificate on successful completion of the course and LIT KGSD Amaradasa (IT 106992) was awarded with the Golden Mouse award, which is awarded to the highest aggregator in overall merit. At the closing address, Lieutenant Commander (IT) WSC Fernando, the 2IC IT School stated that NMA keeps trust in all the course participants and believes that they will move ahead with the knowledge they have gathered during the course and will utilize it for the betterment of Sri Lanka Navy.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
