 <\/span><\/p>

 <\/span>\u201cEurophia –\n2023\u201d, a Variety Show which <\/span>orchestrated\nextraordinary talents of <\/span>the Officer Under Trainees (OUTs) of Naval<\/span> & Maritime Academy<\/span> <\/span>was held at Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium (AWKA) in the\nevening on 24th<\/sup> August 2023 and Cmde Buddhika Liyanagamage, the\nCommandant Naval<\/span> & Maritime Academy<\/span> <\/span>graced this fabulous\nevent as the Chief Guest. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

 <\/span><\/p>

Altogether 75\nOUTs of Basic Orientation Course, 38 Intake KDU, 64th<\/sup> Intake, 65th<\/sup>\nIntake and Direct Entry – 2022 performed actively on the stage by showing various\ntalents which comprised Dancing, Stage Dramas, Compeering and Musical\nperformances including singing and instrument playing. <\/span>This event served as a pivotal platform for nurturing the\nOUTs, offering them a unique avenue to showcase their inherent potential.<\/span> <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The Sri Lankan cultural up-country dance\nemerged as the mesmerizing opening act, infusing “Euphoria – 2023”\nwith a dazzling and vibrant energy. As the curtains lifted, the rhythmic\nfootwork and intricate movements of the dancers illuminated the stage, setting\nthe tone for a truly captivating evening<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span>Thereafter, a number\nof songs were sung in four languages (Sinhala, Tamil, English and Hindi) with musical\ninstruments played by the band \u201cFLEXES\u201d which consisted of only OUTs. The stage\nwas then decorated by the talented OUTs with a fantastic dance in the Western\nstyle of Cha Cha, a drama called \u201cThe Reality\u201d which was a significant one with\nhumour mixed, a Sinhala mash-up, Freestyle & Hip-hop combined dance and a dance\nby Lady OUTs for a Hindi song which caught eyes of all audience. Further, acoustic\ncovers of English and Hindi songs with a romantic act performed by the OUTs in a\nmagnificent style, fascinated the audience. A Sinhala and English mixed Mash-up\nperformed by the band \u201cFLEXES\u201d terminated <\/span>the show <\/span>by wondering\nthe audience with much pleasure and joy. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The culmination of <\/span>\u201cEurophia – 2023\u201d<\/span> marked a momentous occasion as the\nCommandant Naval And Maritime Academy shared his heartfelt reflections on the\nremarkable event. Cmde Buddika Liyanagamage extended his sincere\ncongratulations to all the participants, acknowledging their outstanding\nperformances and urging them to harness and nurture these talents for the\nadvancement of the future Sri Lanka Navy. His words resonated with\nencouragement and fostered a sense of enthusiasm among the participants to determine\nto continue improving their skills. Further, he expressed his gratitude towards\nthe dedicated efforts of the Officer Training Officer and OTW Directing Staff,\nrecognizing their instrumental role in orchestrating such a platform<\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
