The Training\nCommand was exclusively represented by the players of the Naval &amp; Maritime\nAcademy.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">After five days of hard tussle, the Training Command\u2019s men\u2019s\nbadminton team was crowned as champions of the Inter-Command Badminton\nTournament-2023, which was held at SLNS Gemunu \u2013 Late Commander \u2018Parakrama\nSamaraweera Memorial\u2019 Indoor Sports Complex from 06th to 10th March 2023.&nbsp;\nThis tournament was attracted by more than 200 players from all Naval Commands.\nThe Training Command men\u2019s team was unbeaten, and able to maintain the highest\nstandard of performance throughout the tournament. Men\u2019s teams were divided\ninto 2 groups consisting with 4 teams in group \u2018A\u2019 and&nbsp; 5 teams in group\n\u2018B\u2019, while 03 women\u2019s teams were in group \u2018A\u2019 and \u2018B\u2019.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Training Command men\u2019s team become the top in group \u2018B\u2019 and\nsemifinals played against ENC. Training Command men\u2019s team beat ENC and\nselected for the finals against WNC. At the same time Training Command women\u2019s\nteam lost in the semifinals against NCC and obtain the 4th place in the\ntournament. In the finals the Training Command men\u2019s team became the men\u2019s\u2019\nchampions by beating Western command men\u2019s team.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Commander Western Naval Area Rear Admiral Suresh De\nSilva graced the prize awarding ceremony as the chief guest and Training\nCommand\u2019s men\u2019s badminton team was crowned as champions of the Inter-Command\nBadminton Tournament-2023.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
