The Certificates awarding ceremony of Long Logistics Management Course No. 6 was held at Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium today (23rd April 2022) and 19 course participants who have completed the course successfully were awarded certificates in recognition of their achievements. The ceremony was graced by the Director General Logistics of the Sri Lanka Navy Rear Admiral APN De Silva, USP, LLMC as the chief guest with the invitation of the Commandant Naval & Maritime Academy Commodore KDDC Fernando, RSP, USP, rcds, MSc (DS) Mgt, AFNI, JP (Whole Island),

LCdr (S) Yohan Wanigasekara excelled in securing awards for first in order of merit and overall performances, Highest Aggregator of Naval Logistics Subjects and Highest Aggregator of Academic Subjects while LCdr (S) Gihan Premathilaka recognized as the Most Inspired Officer.

The Long Logistics Management Course has designed for logistics officers to broaden their knowledge in dynamic economic environment and to improve the performances of logisticians in the Sri Lanka Navy. The course was expanded over 58 weeks and enhanced the knowledge of participant in 23 different disciplines.

The Long Logistics Management Course is the highest course of study conduct at NMA for logistics branch officers and the course was comprised with 16 Naval Officers, 01 Army Officer and 2 Police Officers.
